🥳🥳CDU welcomes international students as flight lands in Darwin (Monday, 30 November)

CDU has become the first university in the country to welcome international students back to Australia, with a flight carrying 63 students landing in Darwin this morning (Monday, 30 November).
Students travelled to Singapore to be connected to the chartered Singapore Airlines fight, which departed Changi Airport and touched down at Darwin International Airport at 7.30am.
The cohort, from mainland China, Hong Kong, Japan, Vietnam and Indonesia, are the first group of international students to enter Australia since the introduction of hard border restrictions in March due to COVID-19. The pilot program is an important first step in the recovery of the international education sector in Australia.
CDU New courses and VET package are will be available for international students in both of CDU's 2021 intakes:
SNTN01 - Master of Nutrition (Darwin Casuarina)
UIDPC1 - Graduate Certificate of Infectious Disease Prevention and Control (Darwin Casuarina – Semester 2 only)
BSB41419 - Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (Alice Springs, Darwin Waterfront)
BSB51319 - Diploma of Work Health and Safety (Alice Springs, Darwin Waterfront)
CHC50113 - Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (Darwin Casuarina)
Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care have a new course duration from 1.5 year to 1 year. The new Work Health and Safety courses also form part of a new VET Package, offering a pathway from VET to Higher Education (Bachelor of Business).
